Early childhood education represents a threshold between home and institutional learning. Ludere bridges this gap by transforming the classroom into a landscape of exploration, creativity, and self-initiated design.
By empowering children to participate in shaping their surroundings, Ludere fosters a sense of belonging and comfort within educational spaces. This act of playful spatial creation not only strengthens emotional attachment to the environment but also enhances cognitive development through the manipulation and understanding of basic geometric forms.

The Design Process
Research indicates that place attachment is a critical challenge for preschool-aged children who struggle to feel secure in environments outside the home. Ludere addresses this issue by inviting children aged 4–5 to construct their own interiors through play, using a modular system of interchangeable geometric units.
