I’m Yağmur, a designer, architect and design history researcher who balances the world of academia and freelance design practice. As an independent designer I lead diverse design projects ranging from brand development for international companies to interior design of commercial businesses.
My background as a Design Historian and current PhD candidate is the heartbeat of my practice. My doctoral research focuses on the history of playgrounds, which keeps me deeply involved in the "world of play." I don’t just study it; I apply it. I lead my creative process and client discovery through the same playful methodologies I research, ensuring that every project is built on a foundation of curiosity.
I specialise navigating the crossroads of graphic design, visual identity, spatial storytelling and user experience and so, I provide brands an intellectually grounded and visually compelling identities.
